European Frog (Pelophylax kl. esculentus)

Illustration Description

This a watercolour painting of the common frog or grass frog (Rana temporaria), also known as the European common frog, that I completed as part of a larger project describing the environmental pressures on these animals. Once high in numbers, this frog is under threat like many species.

The frog was drawn straight onto watercolour paper and painted in watercolour. It was scanned and saved onto the computer and incorporated as part of a poster design describing various environmental pressures.
